As a bird owner, I am only too aware of how difficult and frustrating it can be to find a suitable carer for my birds when i go on holiday. I know my birds well, i know their daily care, routine and individual personalities, and also their specialist care.
Caring for a bird is very different to caring for a pet dog or pet rabbit!
Many other holiday care services are unqualified or inexperienced to deal with large parrots, or an aviary full of birds of different species.
I am pleased to be able to offer a space in my non smoking home for your caged birds, and also daily/twice daily visits to care for your aviary birds.
By leaving your beloved pets in the care of someone who knows their type inside and out, you can rest assured that your pet bird/s are being well looked after and having a fuss made of them, and you can relax and enjoy your holiday!
I can also arrange daily care for birds on a long term basis if owners become ill or are hospitalised, and also for owners who have a bout of longer working hours than normal. If you require this service, please contact me to discuss your requirements and I will work out a special rate for you.
My rates are extremely cheep (I couldnt resist that!) and affordable.
The charges are as follows:
For birds cared for in my home:
Small cage birds (for 1-2 birds) 50p per day or £3 for one week or £6.50 for two weeks
Additional birds per cage charged at 25p per bird
Large cage bird/s (for 1-2 birds) 75p per day or £4.50 for one week or £9.75 for two weeks
Additional birds in additonal cages charged at 50p per bird
For aviary birds cared for in their own home:
Aviary bird care for one visit per day (unlimited birds) £3 per day or £19 for one week or £39 for two weeks
Aviary bird care for two visits per day (unlimited birds) As above, plus £1.50 per extra visit
Please note, these charges are for clients based within a 10 mile radius of my home, visits to aviary birds outside this range carry an additional petrol premium.
